Your Photo Session
Preparation
Once you schedule your session, you'll receive a confirmation email that includes everything you need to know, such as how to prepare, what to bring, directions, and other helpful details.
You'll also be able to fill out a questionnaire to share your preferences for music, hair and makeup, and photo style. This helps us create a session that feels just right for you.
If you'd like to go a step further, start collecting images that inspire you. A great way to do this is by creating a Pinterest board with your favorite looks so we can get a clear idea of the style you're aiming for.
Arrival
When you arrive at the studio, feel free to park right in front of the entrance and come on in. Your professional makeup artist and stylist will be ready to begin your glam session. Both lashes and hairstyling are included.
After hair and makeup, you’ll have time to settle in and unpack in the dressing room.
For Maternity, Kids, and Mommy & Me sessions, we’ll then go over your outfit changes. We'll also help you choose the jewelry, shoes, and accessories that work best with each look.
The Shoot
For indoor sessions, you’ll get to choose up to three of your favorite sets to use for your shoot. To help you feel relaxed and confident, we have speakers throughout the studio where your favorite music can play during your session.
For outdoor sessions, this would be the time where we head over to our predetermined location.
Regardless of if your session is indoors our outdoors, there is no need to worry about posing. I’ll guide you every step of the way with simple, easy-to-follow directions.. Most people leave saying it was much easier and more fun than they expected!
The Screening
Once our photo session is complete, your images will be ready for viewing. You'll get to watch a slideshow of all your photos, and then we'll go through them together to choose your favorites using a simple elimination process.
Many clients decide to purchase a photo album that includes multiple images. We also offer individual prints, canvas wall art, and other specialty items that make great additions.
Any products you select will receive additional retouching and design before moving into printing and production. You can expect a beautifully packaged delivery within three to four weeks after your session.
If your shoot is outdoors, we can either return to the studio the same day to view and select your images, or schedule a separate appointment for that part of the process.
